Dear Faculty and Staff,

As we reach the close of this academic year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for the care, dedication, and collaboration you have shown throughout the year. Your commitment to supporting one another reminds us that teamwork truly makes the dream work, and it is that spirit that has enabled us to do our very best for our students.

Because of your efforts, this has been a strong and successful year for the college. Enrollment has remained stable, student completion is strong, and we have continued to create meaningful pathways for our students to achieve their goals. These outcomes are not accidental; rather, they are the direct result of your hard work, innovation, and perseverance.

This is also a wonderful time of year, when we get to see the fruits of our labor come to life. Over the past several weeks, we have celebrated our students through a number of incredible events, including Lavender Graduation, Nursing Pinning, ISP Graduation, the Achieve Capstone and Graduation, the Case Management Program Capstone and Graduation, and many other ceremonies across the college. Each one has been a powerful reminder of the lives you help shape every day.

And now, we look ahead to Commencement on June 18 at the ShoWare Center. This year, we are expecting close to 900 graduates to participate – an extraordinary milestone and a clear reflection of your commitment to student success. It will be a joyful celebration shared by faculty, staff, trustees, families, and friends, all coming together to honor the achievements of our students.

Today marks the last contractual day for faculty. I hope that the weeks ahead offer you a well-deserved opportunity to rest, recharge, and enjoy time away. We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another impactful year.

For those who will be participating in Commencement and other end-of-year celebrations, thank you for representing the college community with such pride and care during this meaningful time.

I wish each of you all the best in the months ahead and offer my deepest appreciation for everything you have done to make this year such a success. It has been an honor to serve alongside you, and I look forward to the work we will continue together.
