Good afternoon Highline Staff and Faculty,

It is with great joy that we share that at 10:00 a.m. today the Highline College Board of Trustees, following recommendation from President Mosby, voted unanimously to approve the ratified 2025-27 Collective Bargaining Agreement with the WPEA (our classified staff bargaining unit). Executive Cabinet would like to extend our gratitude to the WPEA members that served on the bargaining team for their partnership and collaboration in this process.

The ratified agreement has now been submitted to OFM (Washington State Office of Financial Management) for approval and a budget request to the State Legislature. Given the current legislative deadlines, where the Senate and the House are in conference, we are cautiously optimistic that our funding request will be approved.

The work that our classified staff do each day in support of student success and completion is beyond appreciated. Thank you!
