Good morning Highline College,
I can’t believe I’m saying this but Commencement is around the corner (again). Many thanks to the staff, faculty and students who participated and volunteered in our previous ceremonies. Last year, I asked the Commencement Committee to survey students as well as gather as much feedback from staff/student about the event to help us determine our next steps. I appreciated reviewing the data and listening to the Commencement Committee representatives present the information to Executive Cabinet and the Board of Trustees. After discussion with Cabinet and the committee, I have decided that we will be returning to the ShoWare Center this June for Commencement and look forward to another wonderful, amazing event for the campus and in particular, our graduates and their families.
More information will be coming from the Commencement Committee about the specific day and activities. But please mark your calendar for Thursday, June 13.
